Rhinopithecus bieti is a monotypic species (no subspecies).

 

Occurrence: 

Southwestern China (Tibet and Yunnan)

 

IUCN Conservation Status

Endangered

 

Fewer than 2,000 individuals left in the wild (2006 estimate).
